一则读书笔记体的改编，根据自己的理解以一小时的片长诠释“不可改编”的俄亥俄温斯堡之魂不可谓不大胆。黑白摄影似有简洁粗砺的版画风格，几抹彩色则如同高光的锚点。很好地把握住了所有故事的载体：记忆，从而模糊了时间和空间的差距，当代性显得毫不突兀。
